Patterns Await Around Every Corner in our
PATTERN MUSEUM
Our Mission: to search the world around us with the eye of an explorer to discover patterns of all sorts, both large and small, and find out what they tell us about math & our world.
Our Definition:
We think that a pattern is something that happens more than once; it repeats, it rotates, it adds up -
words from the dictionary and web: “arrange” “create” “design” “order” “shapes, lines” “symmetry” “recurring”

You can follow our thinking as we discussed, identified, categorized and analyzed patterns by looking at our Google Doc:

Patterns - TL4

Then, check out our patterns by viewing this Voice Thread that we put together with images and explanations of each pattern we photographed in and around our school.
